In September 2019, the second stage of the project took its place: the expedition to Annapurna (8,109 m). This expedition was very special about its autonomy - during this period there was no one but our heroes on the mountain from the North of Annapurna.
A very difficult avalanche situation did not allow to reach the summit, and the climbers made a difficult for them, but a professional decision - to retreat and to ski down from 6300 meters. Thus the story was born: how important it is to make the right decision in time and to turn back, to survive, but not to try to be a hero.
Annapurna is a mountain range in the Himalayas. It can be translated from Sanskrit as " Goddess of Fertility." The highest peak of the massif is Annapurna I (8091 m) , and it is the tenth of the fourteen eight-thousanders in the world.
The expedition will take place from 11 September to 31 October 2018.
